Overview of BPA
The Band Parent Association is the backing support to the Instrumental Music Program. All parents of students in the Instrumental Music Program are "de facto" members of the Band Parent Association. Headed by our BPA board, the BPA provides chaperones for events, meals before football games, and throughout the year oversees fundraisers to help support the program. Of note is our famous Fall Craft Fair which has been going on for decades.
What does BPA do?
In the community, our BPA is most known for our annual Craft Fair. This serves as the biggest fundraiser for many of our activities and is instrumental in being able to provide snacks, refreshments, and funds for the needs of our extracurricular ensembles. Behind the scenes, they are instrumental in fitting uniforms, preparing snacks and refreshments, chaperoning events, and ensuring the logistics and details so that our directors, staff, and students can focus on what we do best: MUSIC!
Craft Fair
Our annual Fall Craft Fair has been held in the Cardinal O'Hara cafeteria for decades. Over 75 vendors from all over the Southeastern Pennsylvania region gather selling and showcasing all sorts of crafts. From jewelry to woodwork, from seasonal decor, to jams and other goodies, our Craft Fair is one of the most popular in the area around Christmastime. Our most recent Fall Craft Fair took place in November, 2021.
