Marching BandOur Marching Band, together with our Color Guard, forms the most visible ensemble in the community. Throughout the year they perform at O'Hara's home football games, in local parades, and in the showcases of the Pennsylvania Marching Band Coalition. In the past, we have performed for the Phillies Home Opener, the Philadelphia Flyers, and in 2015 we even performed for Pope Francis. The season kicks off with Band Camp in August to prepare our field show. The Marching Band meets as part of the 8th period band class with occasional after school rehearsals for which we combine with Color Guard. The Marching Band is directed by Mr. Tom Keiser, Mr. Connor Buckley, and Jason Creelman, student drum major.

Color GuardOur Color Guard performs as an auxiliary unit to the O'Hara Marching Band. Together, they begin bringing the fall show together at band camp and later perform with the Marching Band in parades. Modeled after military guards, they perform with flags and other military-inspired props while engaging in dance choreography. In the winter months, they perform and compete in the Tournament Indoor Association as the Winter Guard. Click here to learn more about the Winter Guard. The Color Guard is instructed by Mrs. Donna Weidenmiller.
