The Tri-M Music Honor Society opens up a world of opportunities for secondary school students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.

Tri-M Music Honor Society at COHS
The Tri-M Music Honor Society at Cardinal O'Hara recognizes our students for their outstanding academic excellence in music courses and non-music courses and their contribution to the community through service in music (such as performing at school functions, community events, and handling the logistics for performing groups that may come to O'Hara). One of our more popular events is caroling for the residents of Don Guanella at Christmastime. Additionally, throughout the year, the Tri-M Music Honor Society hosts at least one recital to provide performance opportunities that complement our various ensembles at Cardinal O'Hara. Induction into the Tri-M Music Honor Society is by nomination and recommendation of our music faculty and acceptance by the Tri-M Music Honor Society moderator. Requirements for membership are announced at our interest meeting at the start of each school year.
